Levin Leuthold

Programmer and Game Developer

Hi, I am Levin. I use different programming languages like C#, C++, Python and more. I also use the Unity engine to develop my own games. I already have a few years of experience. I became interested in software development and everything about computer science in 6th grade.

Levin Leuthold, 17, from Kaudorf (you probably don't know this little village). I love programming, whether it's Python, C# or C++. I just like it and have for years now. I created around 30 (unfinished) games with Unity, programmed different Python scripts for various purposes and developed several websites.

I really like learning new things about computer science. It doesn't matter if it's a new language, framework or library. The only thing I don't like is SQL, and sometimes frontend (I'd rather do backend, because I love solving logic problems and writing code).

My goal: To understand as much as possible about computer science.

IOT device stuff and fullstack development

Truvami, Zür-Bin7

I currently work at Team Truvami. It is a start-up which develops and sells various trackers. I implemented a QR code scanner for their website that can save the trackers in the database with their current status. I will probably work with LoRa and LoRaWAN soon.

Fullstack Developer

Sitelab (doesn't exist anymore)

For the first time I worked as a Fullstack Developer. I learned frameworks like NestJS, Tailwind and more. I got multiple tasks and finished them with high quality. This was the first time I worked in an apprentice-only team. It was a lot of fun.

Software Engineer for Data, Analytics and AI

Team Coral at DNA

This was my first real project. I learned many things about Artificial Intelligence and how it works. I even created my own neural network that learned how to solve simple addition math tasks. I worked in a team with very competent people and worked on tasks. For the first time, I created something that Swisscom actually can use.

Onboarding @DNA

Onboarding@DNA

My first project at Swisscom. I just started my apprenticeship and got in this team. In this project I learned Python. I already knew Python at that time, so I did more advanced stuff with Python than just learning it. I implemented my own ideas and created everything with Python, from a game to a SQL database manager. I improved my skills with Python a lot and it was a really nice start in my apprenticeship. Sadly this project was only 3 months.

C++ Chip-8 Emulator

/ Low level programming / emulator development

I currently work on a C++ Chip-8 Emulator. The goal of this project is to get an understanding of emulator development and low-level programming in C++.

My Unity games

/ Unity Engine / Game development

Fascinated by game development, I taught myself Unity and C# in 6th grade. Over the years, I have significantly improved my skills and inspired my friends.

ESP32 Menu in C++

/ ESP32 / C++ / Arduino IDE

A few months ago, I got an ESP32 and started learning C++ for it. Since then, I have programmed my own menu in C++ using the Arduino IDE.

Minecraft server hosting

/ Network / hosting

I used an old PC with a 2nd-gen i5, 6 GB DDR3 RAM and a hard drive to host a Minecraft server. I learned networking basics and wrote a Python script to schedule shutdowns.
